Baroda Mutual Fund launches Baroda Equity Savings Fund

Highlights of the NFO:

  • Scheme type - An open-ended equity scheme investing in equity, arbitrage and debt instruments

  • Investment objective - The primary objective of the scheme is to generate capital appreciation and income by using arbitrage opportunities, investment in equity / equity related instruments and debt/ money market instruments. However, there is no assurance or guarantee that the investment objective of the scheme will be realized.

  • Product suitability - The product is suitable for investors who are seeking long term capital appreciation and income generation by investing in equity and equity related securities, arbitrage opportunities, and debt and money market instruments.

  • Minimum Application Amount - First investment is Rs. 5,000/- and in multiples of Rs. 1/- thereafter

  • Plan/ Options available - Direct Plan and Regular Plan having Growth Option and Dividend Option. Dividend Option will have Dividend Payout and Dividend Reinvestment facility.

  • Fund Managers - Mr. Sanjay Chawla, Mr. Dipak Acharya and Mr. Alok Sahoo

  • Benchmark - 40% NSE 50 Arbitrage index, 35% NIFTY Short Duration Debt index and 25% NSE 100 index
